Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Average for his age, but slightly petite in build. Pretty light and delicate, he cultivates that look.

2. How old is he?
8, will turn nine soon.

3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
Energetic and a bit on the graceful side.

4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
Generally fit and healthy, though he's not immune to seasonal colds.

5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Once again, energetic but more on the graceful side. The kind who's always doing something, playing with hands or clothes if sitting down, etc

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
"Pretty cute" is a good description. He's pretty okay with his looks, and very :3 with them when dressed as a girl.

7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
Light and generally healthy, might have scratches on the legs from time to time because of tall grass.

8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
Black, a bit thin but silky, cut a bit above his shoulders. He generally has it tied on the sides like two mini ponytails. He has a whole stash of ribbons to hold them.

9. What color are his eyes?
Blue

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
Physically, not really

11. What are his chief tension centers?
Shoulders, they're also the part of his body that reflect his emotions most.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
Varied. He has a few simple shirts and trousers for when he has to dress as a boy, and many more girly outfits. Dresses, skirts, one pair of cute shorts, practical shirts and frilly shirts, a couple of girly trousers for really rainy days. All of it is still pretty practical, since he runs around a lot. Comes complete with girly shoes and a pretty umbrella for Hoenn rains.
Mostly pastel colors with a few brighter colors.

More comfortable in skirts and dresses. But all of his clothes fit him.

14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
He has a uniform for school, but managed to have that one be the girl one too.

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
A bit low-pitched for his age, he's self-conscious about it because he's worried it sounds too boyish even though there's not that much difference between boys and girls at his age. It's on the softer side, but he's cheerful and energetic most of the time so it doesn't show that much.

2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
Not too loud, but energetic, and often fast. He's a comfortable talker.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?

4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
WHATEVER THEY SPEAK IN THE POKEWORLD

He talks a bit differently when as a boy or girl, but the girl version is actually his more natural and relaxed speech.

He's rather spontaneous, so he speaks easily, except when cornered on really personal issues.

Average, a bit on the eloquent side.



Mental and Emotional

A reasonable amount of street smarts, and a lot of reading. He's not excedingly good at school, though, because he gets distracted easily.

2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
Think day to day things on his feet, great decisions he takes time for.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Intuitive and practical, when he takes time to deliberate something he gets more logical.

4. What kind of education has the character had?
School and a lot of books. He also knows a lot about the weather since his mother works at the weather institute.

5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
He's pretty good with pokemon, and knows the ones he has and their capacities very well. Also, weather.
He is also very fashion-conscious for his age, and is good at dressing someone--or disguises.

Extroverted, but secretive on some things for obvious reasons.

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
Cheerful, optimistic and active, with more calm thoughtful periods.

Generally open and relaxed, though there's always an edge if he's afraid of being called out on his gender.

React for most things, act for what is important to him.

Fight.

Lighthearted jokes and puns.

Nope.

Getting his first pokemon, moving from Pacifidlog to Mauvile, "meeting" Sapphire, the awakening of Groudon and Kyogre and the events that went with it, the day he decided to live as a girl as much as he could, changing schools.

Losing his parents or his pokemon, another environmental catastrophe, being forced to live "normally" again.

15. What are his hopes or aspirations?
Move to Fortree, beat all the Hoenn gyms, find a cool job that has to do with pokemon.
Also, to have a castform.

OBVIOUS ANSWER IS OBVIOUS. Though he doesn't mind if select people know as long as they don't treat him differently.



Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
His mum is kind but a bit of an airheaded scientist. He loves her a lot but she's often gone for days on end because of her work. His dad is there nearly every evening, and they're a bit closer. He likes to tease his son (see what he named his shroomish) but takes good care of him, they snark at each other often.
Both parents believe he's going through a phase and will want to be a normal boy once he reaches teenage years, which is a slight jab at his self-esteem, but they're supportive of him for now.

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
No siblings

3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
His grandfather lives in Petalburg, but he doesn't see him often.

4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
Nope.

5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
He had a friend in Pacifidlog when he was tiny, a girl, and they still write to each other every now and then, but he only sees her once a year.

He gets along with people easily, but doesn't deepen relationships as easily, or at least he hasn't for the past year. He probably will once he gets more confident.

Both are important to him.

Sapphire could maybe count as a crush, but it's more hero worship.

He doesn't really think about it, because for him it'd mean getting married and he's not sure if he can.

Clothes, sweets, treats for his pokemon.

Pokemon training! Also clothes, and he likes predicting the weather, he has a mini-weather station in the garden. He also reads a lot.
